The Dufour 45 Classic is part of the cruising line of the French shipyard. A project by J&J. It is a comfortable boat, easy to steer, evolutionary, with moderate displacement, slender ends, large stern sections, wide gangways and a low, round deckhouse. Movement on deck is easy and the cockpit is well equipped with 6 winches and all the quickdraws of the rigging, even the sail is powerful. The hull is vacuum-laminated in PVC foam sandwich (balsa for the deck), with the bulkheads handkerchiefed to the structure. The dark mahogany interiors are ventilated by many skylights, it has 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms, the galley is on the port side, the sofa in a "U" shape on the starboard side. 60 hp Volvo saildrive engine.
